Who should I choose to be my doctor?

I’m looking for a plastic sergen who can do basic liposuction without the scars they leave behind. I want to ask you all who I should go to in the Dallas Tx area. Also tell me what your expirence of going to a cosmetic sergen was like and hopfully you can recommend me. Sorry for my spelling.
Ps. Tell me in detail the reasons why I should go to that doctor.

The gist is not which surgeon you should go to…..

But the important factor to look for when you assess a surgeon, like:

1. Is he/she a qualified professional certified by a prestige and well-established plastic surgeon board

2. Any record of bad and botched surgery

3. Any hint of anything to do with malpractice (e.g.law suit from patients…)

4. Any major complications as result of his/her surgeries

5. Check with the surgeon’s existing patients who can give you first hand account on what actually happened to them. Are they satisfied with the surgeries and the results.

Be careful, there are lots of unscrupulous ones around who can promise you heaven and earth but cause you all the heartaches at the end……

This guide on what to to before and after cosmetic surgery may help you out: http://www.perfect-body-toning.com/liposuction-before-and-after.html

You have to attend med school

And getting into med school is EXTREMELY tough and competitive. You need straight A’s and usually a gpa in the 4.0 range in university.
-You usually need a bachelor degree first (4 yrs)
-Then med school (5 yrs)
-Then specializing in plastic surgery (4yrs)

So your looking at about 13 yrs atleast.

You May be a Good Candidate for Liposuction

Liposuction is a cosmetic surgery procedure that is performed to remove excess fat from beneath the skin. Although liposuction is not a form of weight loss, it is a way to change the shape and contour of your body. Many people choose Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Vasdev Rai of Dallas, Texas to perform liposuction procedures in order to remove excess fat that is too stubborn for diet and exercise.

Even though almost everyone can have liposuction, the best candidates for this body contouring procedure are individuals who are normal or slightly over weight, with firm, elastic skin, have pockets of excess fat in areas of their body, psychologically stable, physically healthy, and people with realistic expectations.

Although age is not a large determining factor for whether you should have liposuction or not, someone who’s skin is not very elastic may have the same problems as someone with tight skin.

Liposuction is an excellent option if you have excess fat protruding from any area of your body. Dr. Rai’s goal when performing liposuction procedures is to “create a smooth, even, proportionate distribution of the fat that is left behind, so that treated areas are in balance with adjacent untreated areas.”

The reason liposuction is such an appealing cosmetic procedure to so many people is because it is minimally invasive, it has proven results, and there is a fast recovery time. Also, it can be used on many different areas of the body so that you can get the results that you want. Dr. Rai will perform your liposuction procedure with your needs and goals in mind, not what is most convenient or easy.

In women, the most common procedures are the removal of excess fat from under the chin, arms, outer thighs, waist, hips, and stomach. Men, on the other hand, tend to have liposuction performed to reduce excess fat in their “love handles,” around the waist, enlarged male breasts, and under the chin.

Dr. Rai performs three types of liposuction at the Cosmetic Surgical Center in Dallas, Texas. Throughout his 20 years of medical experience, Dr. Rai has performed over 10,000 cosmetic surgeries. Many of those surgeries have been liposuction procedures such as:

· Traditional Liposuction

· Ultrasonic Liposuction (Ultrasound Assisted Liposuction or UAL)

· Tumescent Liposuction

Liposuction is the number one cosmetic surgery procedure in the United States, and is also Dr. Rai’s most popular procedure among his patients.

If your ears are a source of embarrassment or annoyance for you, otoplasty is a special type of plastic surgery that might suit you. Whether one ear or both are misshapen or not the size you would like, this procedure can help.

Like any kind of surgery, you will need to follow specific instructions during the recovery period, most of which can be provided by your doctor. However, here is a general overview of how the postoperative care should be handled.

You will have some swelling for a few weeks, and it could even go away only to return within a few months. This is normal. To keep swelling to a minimum, try to keep your head elevated for the first week or so, and do not lift heavy objects or sunbathe for the first few months.

This will only irritate the area. Bruising is similar and should fade more each week, but you can simply use makeup to cover this if desired. It will go away naturally.

You will go home with bandages on your head the day of surgery. The next day, you can typically get the dressing removed, but you need to keep it clean meanwhile. To do so, you can clean the sutured area with a q-tip dipped in hydrogen peroxide. Once you get the dressing removed, you will receive a headband to keep the ear area safe.

You will need to wear the headband for at least two weeks, as this will help keep your ears even with each other. It is recommended that you choose baths instead of showers for this time period, but if you must you take a shower, you will need to be careful to work around the headband and not disturb the healing process. After the first two weeks, you only need to wear the headband at night until it has been six weeks since the otoplasty.

Choosing to get this surgery is a big step to being happier with your ears and your overall appearance. This part of your body can stand out if something doesn’t look right, so letting the area ruin your entire appearance is not recommended.

Clearly, getting an otoplasty does require some recovery time, but it does not last long, and the results are often worth it. If you have questions about the recuperation period, or notice bleeding for more than ten minutes, contact your doctor for further instructions.

Dallas otoplasty specialist can help to reshape any deformed ears due to trauma, accident or by birth. You don’t have to live lifelong with a deformed look. Get your confidence back. To learn more of the results, view the before and after photo here http://www.otoplastyinfo.com
